Neil

I apologise again for the slowed pace and consequent lack of updates to this blog. I can only reiterate that its all due to my conscious decision a few weeks back to dedicate more time to improving my overall situation, freeing up more building time and, ultimately making the big life change aboard Gleda. I am pleased to say that things are moving forward and I am super confident that things are moving in the right direction, I just have to keep pushing, keep working and keep visualising success and it will come. I did spend some time on the build today but didn't really make a lot of progress. I did finish setting the deck/cabin top mould frame though and this week I'll get the various bits and pieces I need to finish it.

Thanks to Jacques and Chick for the comments re polystyrene foam. I've actually found a high insulation product with a built in flame retardent although Jacques is right, a ply/epoxy boat will never be particularly fire retardent.

Massive congratulations to Adrian Hall for starting his Tiki 38 build, welcome to the asylum Adrian! Adrian has also started a blogsite at www.buildingkira.com so there's somewehere else to go check out whilst I'm on go slow. Stay with me though!
